{"id":"49","title":"Ziyah Gafic","description":"Ziyah Gafic was born in 1980 in Sarajevo, Bosnia where he graduated in Comparative Literature. Since 1999 he has been travelling extensively and has covered major events in more than forty countries. \r\n<br>\r\n<br>Gafic\u2019s work was exhibited at many relevant galleries and photo festivals such as: Visa pour l'image Perpignan, Rencontres du photograhie Arles, Fovea Editions New York, Oude Kerk Amsterdam, Tom Blau gallery London, Grazia Neri gallery Milano. \r\n<br>\r\n<br>Nowdays, he regularly publishes his work in some of the world\u2019s leading publications such as Amica, La repubblica, Time, Tank, Telegraph Magazine, Newsweek, L'Espresso. \r\n<br>\r\n<br>His photo essay on Bosnia was published in the book \u201cTales from Globalizing World\u201d by Thames &amp; Hudson while his works are included in several overviews of contemporary photography such as \u201cPhotography as Contemporary Art\u201d by Thames &amp; Hudson and \u201cThe way people live\u201d by Gabriel Bauret.
