{"id":"29","title":"Patrick Robert","description":"Born in 1958, Robert received a degree in agronomy and began his career in photography as an assistant in fashion and advertising. In 1980 he became a lab technician in Paris but soon graduated to full-time freelance photography. Since 1982 he has covered virtually every war in Africa and the Middle East, starting with the Iraq-Iran war and the US conflict with Libya.
