For five year he has been working on a book about AIDS throughout Asia, as well as continuing his photographic documentation for a book on the radical changes in Indonesia since 1997.\r\n<br>\r\n<br>Stanmeyer has been the recipient of numerous honors including the Robert Capa, Magazine Photographer of the Year, as well as numerous World Press and Picture of the Year awards.\r\n<br>\r\n<br>Stanmeyer is a cofounding member and current President of VII.
