 Stephanie Sinclair - Biography
   
Stephanie Sinclair (34) graduated from the University of Florida, with a BA in journalism and a minor in fine-art photography. After working for five years on the Chicago Tribune, she left her job and moved to Iraq and then Lebanon to work out of the region. Since then her regular clients have included, among others, Time, Newsweek, Stern, German Geo and Marie Claire. Her awards include the Visa d'Or from the 2004 Visa pour l'Image photography festival and a 1st place in World Press Photo for her work on self-immolation in Afghanistan, as well as a 3rd place in this year’s World Press Photo for her coverage of the war in Lebanon. In 2000 Stephanie was part of the Chicago Tribune’s team that won the Pulitzer Prize for their documentation of problems within the US airline industry.
