Albanian children stand and stare at the KFOR (NATO) protected train as it passes through their village. The train caters for all nationalities but is used almost exclusively by Serbs and Roma, who face revenge attacks from the Albanian majority if they travel normally. Roma are targeted as they are viewed by the Albanians as collaborators with the Serbian forces who killed thousands of Albanians during the Kosovo conflict. |
