Taking up a position with his rifle at the window of an abandoned house, 17-year-old Quinto Komakech anticipates a third wave of attack from a group of armed LRA rebels. Having lost both his parents in the conflict, Quinto has recently taken up arms to fight unofficially alongside a local UPDF (Uganda Peoples Defence Force) infantry brigade.
